No More Saab

What a pity, General Motors is discontinuing Saab. I owned a 1986 Saab 900 hatchback and it was a terrific vehicle. It lasted well over ten years as a reliable and had over 400,000 miles on it! It even took me to California and back.

But that was before the company was bought by General Motors in 1989. Once Saab became a part of General Motors, I got the impression that the cars decreased in quality and reliability, while remaining as expensive, or more, than they had previously been.

Farewell Saab! It was very nice knowing you!
