Ford Makes Money. Oh yeah and Cars Too!

Ford just announced that they made one billion dollars of profit this past quarter. That is amazing!

I interpret it as a clear sign that other automobile manufacturers failings are due to mistakes by management, not the economic environment.

Remember when the executives of General Motors and Chrysler flew their private corporate jets to Washington, DC to ask the government for more money? Guess what? Uncle Sam is considering giving GMAC (a division of GM) more money.

Let businesses run themselves. The government has its hands full with its own operations in my opinion.
