Avis = Expensive

I traveled to Maine this past weekend and we rented a car from Avis.com and the price was outrageous. I didn't have time to shop around, so I took what I got which was: $480 for four days. Ridiculous? Yes. Its even more ridiculous that the car we were provided was the second cheapest they had available.

I complained a little when returning the car and the customer service representative replied that it was all taxes. I checked the bill and she was right, there was almost $100 of taxes, but even $380 for four days of a rental car is too expensive in my opinion.
