Daimler Invests in Tesla!

This is cool news - Daimler Benz is investing in Tesla Motors and will buy batteries from them for an electric Smart car they are developing.

I read about this news at Cnet, but I expect that all the major news outlets will be chattering about this. Even without this significant news Tesla has been all the media buzz lately.

Apparently it is specifically focused on the battery technology that Tesla has developed.
