Geotagging

I uploaded an image to Wikimedia Commons recently. They recommend geotagging pictures, so I gave it a go.

It was fairly easy. I followed their geotagging instructions for Google Maps and the bookmarking method (the crosshair method didn't work for me for some reason).

The end result was some text to place into the uploaded image page. I would think that it would be better in EXIF tags though. I use EXIF tags for copyright, license, and keyword information.
