U-Haul Truck
Published over 3 years ago
I recently moved from one part of Bethesda, Maryland to another. Since I only have a little Toyota Corolla, I rented a U-Haul truck to carry the big stuff: couch, bed, tables, bureau, rugs, etc.
I have to say that I was really impressed with the price, service and utility of the truck. I've driven U-Haul trucks before, but never rented them for myself until now. My previous experiences were not great, mostly because of the condition of the truck. This truck I rented had 60,000+ miles on it, but it was new and in great shape.
It was a big box truck, and only cost $19.99 plus $1.29 per mile. Since I was only moving a short distance, I only used it for about 6 hours, and drove a total of about 10 miles. Including gas, I only spent about $50 for the truck.
Considering how expensive things seem to be these days, I was glad to be able to afford it.

That thing was a blast to drive. I felt like I was driving in a tank, probably because I'm use to driving in my tiny Mazda.
