Toyota Venza

Toyota is set to release another new model this year- the Venza. I am sure it will come with the typical reliability and quality of a Toyota but what else will it be?
I previewed the car online and did some reading to find out before it hits the roads. This is what I see, another slick looking Toyota styling, that resembles something like an SUV, maybe the shape of Lexus SUV but seems slightly smaller. Their press release describes the car as "a unique blend of sedan refinement and sport utility vehicle functionality" I can tell you I like the sound of that, as a Subaru Outback driver. My wagon handles like a car but has all-wheel drive and is fantastic in the snow. Sounds like the Venza might be like that. The car will be geared towards "active ‘boomers’ and young couples with small families" and looks like its set to compete against the Nissan Murano and the Ford Edge. It is a 5-passenger vehicle, with 40/60 split back seats, and has a spacious looking cargo area.
The price tag looks somewhat broad from $23,000 to $33,000, but there are many options that can upgrade this car, like a back seat DVD, a panoramic sunroof and navigational system.
All in all the car is likely to be another winner for Toyota to bridge the gap between the Camry and the Highlander. See it on the roads late this year.
