Toyota RAV4 Glass Breakage

The windshield on our brand new RAV4 is broken, and its obviously a flaw in the glass. The crack is a single hairline crack along the bottom of the glass, presumably caused by heat change. This is usually handled fine by tempered glass, causing it to withstand changes in temperature.

Unfortunately Toyota would not repair the window under a warranty. Fortunately we have "comprehensive" insurance, and in Massachusetts glass coverage under comprehensive has no deductible.

UPDATE: Safelite came by yesterday and repaired the window. Can't beat service that comes to you!
