Ford versus Toyota

The New York Times is reporting that Toyota has just edged out Ford for the 2nd top spot in automobile sales in North America. I'm surprised, I thought they already were selling more cars than Ford. I still believe that they have been selling more cars worldwide for some time now.

The New York Times also says that Ford has been in second place to General Motors since 1931.

Cellphones Cause Automobile Problems

In other news, Information Week is reporting news of a study from the University of Utah which came to the conclusion that cell phones cause traffic and other automobile problems. Does that come as a surprise to anyone?
