Rechargeable, Portable Car Battery Pack for Jumpstarting Cars with Dead Batteries
Published over 4 years ago
A rechargeable car battery jump start pack isn't a bad thing to invest in if you don't feel like bothering with any road side assistance services. You hook this contraption up to you car and it essentially is the same as somebody jumping your car battery. Some of these jump starters also have electrical sockets as a backup power supply for other appliances.
The price of one of these ranges from around 100 to 150 bucks. One of the down sides is that you must recharge it roughly every three months to insure that it works when you need it. Some people may think that it is more of a hassle than help, but like I said if you don't have AAA, then you should at the very least have one of these handy.
My cousin actually used a solar panel to charge one of these for a solar powered computer project he was working on.
Albert says:
This definitely worked today. I used it to jump my old Mercedes, and the battery in the car was not doing anything. I think I need to clean the battery cable connectors. I've been charging the car battery with my solar panel and I think its working, but I'll have to try again with clean cable connectors.
