Jiffy Lube Pricing Problems, Part II

Today I went to the Jiffy Lube on Morrissey Boulevard in Dorchester, Massachusetts. While my trip was better than the last time I went to a Jiffy Lube, they were still having problems with their pricing and promotions.

I've been to this shop before and definitely had a positive experience, and my trip today was also positive. The only problem was that an employee on the floor gave me a quote of $24.95 (thank you!) but the manager said he couldn't honor both my coupon and the first time customer discount. He also said to the employee that he couldn't give both discounts, for future reference, but didn't honor the price. Its not a big deal, but if I were him I would have honored the price. As a customer, it matters more to me that the shop makes me feel like they've got everything under control, than to experience mistakes and mis-communications up front.

As I said before, this shop does a great job. Even though its a little out of my way, I'll likely return in 5000 miles for my next oil change.
