Perilously Painful Pump Payments are Pitiful

Talk about alliteration! I just filled up and the total came to over $30 for 87 octane. Ouch! I know, many others pay a lot more than that. But I drive a Toyota Corolla! It has a small gas tank, only 11 or 12 gallons. The price per gallon? $3.07. What gives? I wish I didn't have to drive so much.
